Current Express Entry Draw: Important Information
Candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) were invited to participate in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) second Express Entry draw of the year. A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 802 was required for candidates to receive one of the 455 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) that were sent out. Candidates must have submitted their Express Entry profile by 7:39 PM UTC on December 7, 2024, in order to be eligible.

Knowing How to Use the Express Entry System
Canada’s Application Management System for its three main economic immigration programs is called Express Entry.
- Class on Canadian Experience (CEC)
- Program for Federal Skilled Workers (FSWP)
- Program for Federal Skilled Trades (FSTP)
After submitting an Express Entry profile, candidates are given a CRS score that is determined by their age, education, job history, and language proficiency. An Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence is given to the top scorers.
Detailed Instructions for Express Entry
- Check Your Eligibility: Find out if you are eligible for any of the three programs run by Express Entry.
- Get the documents ready. Take language exams, compile academic and professional records, and, if required, get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
- Enter the candidate pool and obtain a CRS score by submitting an Express Entry Profile.
- Await a Draw: Remain in the pool until you receive an invitation from the IRCC based on your category eligibility and CRS score.
- Get an ITA: Within 60 days of being invited, submit a full application for permanent residency.
- Provide Biometrics: If asked, send pictures and fingerprints.
- Final Decision & Landing: Upon approval, applicants land in Canada and obtain a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
