The Canadian government has declared the date of the official start of its new immigration initiatives, known as the “Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots.” Beginning on March 31, 2025, these pathways are intended to give qualified foreign nationals employed in the home care industry alternatives for permanent residency (PR). Eligibility Criteria for Candidates

Candidates must fulfil the following requirements in order to be eligible for the Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots:

  • Proficiency in Language: Show that you can communicate in an official language at CLB Level 4.
  • Qualifications for Education: own the equivalent of a high school graduation from Canada.
  • Experience at Work: Possess recent, pertinent work experience (at least six months).
  • Offer of Employment: Obtain a full-time offer for a position providing home care.

Plan for Immigration Levels and Upcoming Pilots

The IRCC has allotted 10,920 new immigrant admissions under Federal Economic Pilots as part of the 2025–2027 Immigration Levels Plan. The following programs will be covered under this allocation:
