The 2024–25 Skilled Migration Program for South Australia is currently accepting applications and provides state nomination for qualified workers in 427 offshore and 464 onshore occupations.
The 2024–2025 state-nominated skilled migration program for South Australia is now officially open, providing a variety of onshore and offshore options for skilled professionals. By addressing skill shortages in a range of industries, the program fosters economic growth in the state. The South Australian Skilled Occupation List is currently up for inspection.
Inland Streams
In order to take part in the program, eligible onshore applicants who fulfill the necessary prerequisites can now submit a Registration of Interest (ROI). The onshore streams offer state nomination pathways to proficient professionals who currently reside in South Australia.
> Applicants who have shown a commitment to South Australia by obtaining work experience in their skilled occupation within the state are eligible to apply for the Skilled Employment in South Australia Stream.
> Designed to keep graduates who have finished their education and are employed in South Australia, the South Australian Graduates Stream enables them to keep boosting the state’s economy in their specialized field.
> The Outer Regional Skilled Employment Stream aims to alleviate the scarcity of skilled workers in the outer regions of South Australia. Through this method, candidates may submit an application for nomination if they are employed in these regions in their nominated or a closely comparable occupation.
For the onshore streams, a total of 464 jobs are available, guaranteeing a wide range of prospects for qualified people.
Stream Offshore
The offshore stream focuses on highly qualified individuals with highly sought-after abilities who live outside of Australia and work in South Australia. The SkillSelect Expression of Interest (EOI) of eligible candidates will be taken into consideration, and those who are selected will be requested to apply for state nomination.
There are 427 jobs open to candidates from outside South Australia, offering a significant amount of chances for talented immigrants looking to join the workforce there. Throughout the program year, offshore invitation rounds are anticipated to take place on a regular basis beginning with the program’s launch and continuing at the end of each month beginning in September 2024.
Program for Business Innovation and Investment
Applications for state nomination under the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) are not being accepted at this time in South Australia. However, if they meet the conditions, business or investor migrants with a valid provisional visa can apply for nomination for the permanent visa (subclass 888) or the extension stream.
Programs Sponsored by Employers
South Australia is still there to help local firms who are having trouble finding workers in the area. A variety of employer-sponsored initiatives are offered to assist companies in finding the qualified labor force they require.
Application Costs
On the official Application Fees page, you can find the application fees for applying for South Australian nomination for the 2024–25 program year. It is significant to remember that there is no cost associated with submitting a Registration of Interest.
