1,121 PNP candidates with a CRS score of 694 were invited to the most recent IRCC Express Entry draw. Find out the current patterns and future goals for 2024–2025.
In its most recent Express Entry draw, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 1,121 candidates via the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream. To be eligible for this draw, candidates needed to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 694.
The fourth Express Entry draw of the month is this most recent one. A category-based selection draw for candidates with French language competency was held on August 15; two further draws were held on August 13 and 14, respectively, for candidates in the PNP and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

In keeping with its plan to reach the admissions targets for permanent residents for 2024 and 2025, IRCC has been holding more draws, particularly for the PNP and CEC categories.
Through Express Entry, the agency expects to accept 110,770 newcomers in 2024 and 117,500 in 2025. With the IRCC processing six months on average for Express Entry applications, those invited later in the year are projected to help reach the 2025 target.
