In a recent Express Entry draw, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 1,391 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) solely for the Provincial Nominee Programme (PNP).
A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 670 was required for candidates to be eligible. This week’s first and the fifth Express Entry draw since the start of July is being held today.
3,200 individuals were invited by the IRCC earlier this month on July 8th, following a category-based draw that prioritized French proficiency. On July 2, 920 individuals with a CRS score of 739 were invited to participate in another PNP-only lottery.
It’s crucial to remember that candidates who successfully nominate for PNP-only draws usually receive an additional 600 CRS points, which results in higher CRS scores. If nominated, a candidate with a base score of 300, for example, can obtain a total CRS of 900.
