META APP & USER DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS
Acme Consultants (“ACME CONSULTANTS”) is committed to maintaining user privacy and providing full transparency regarding personal data control. In compliance with Meta (Facebook/WhatsApp) Platform regulations and Australian data protection laws, users interacting with our services via Meta-integrated applications, WhatsApp Business automation, or web inquiry forms may request the deletion of their personal data.
Meta Platform / WhatsApp Integration Note:
In accordance with Meta Policy, we provide clear instructions and callback procedures for deleting user data. Users who have interacted with our Meta Apps or WhatsApp automation flows can initiate data removal using the instructions detailed below.
STATUTORY DATA RETENTION VS. DELETION RIGHTS (7-YEAR COMPLIANCE)
As a registered Migration and Education Consultancy operating in Australia, Acme Consultants is subject to statutory regulatory requirements, including the Migration Agents Code of Conduct (MARA), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and relevant federal record-keeping regulations. These regulations mandate that official client immigration files, consultation records, and financial transactions be retained for a minimum of 7 years from the conclusion of the client matter.
How Data Deletion Requests Are Processed Under Statutory Retention Rules:
Non-Regulated Marketing & Inquiry Data: All non-essential marketing preferences, WhatsApp automated chat histories, promotional contact lists, and general web inquiry leads will be permanently erased or anonymized within 3 to 5 business days.
Official Migration & Client Case Files: Personal data associated with formal visa advice, client agreements, case files, and official migration services subject to the mandatory 7-year statutory retention period will be restricted from active processing, removed from marketing channels, and securely archived. Upon expiration of the 7-year legal retention period, these records will be permanently destroyed.
HOW TO SUBMIT A DATA DELETION REQUEST
To submit a data removal or opt-out request, please complete the following steps:
- Send an email to info@acmemigration.com with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request - [Your Name]”.
- Include the following details in your email body:
- Full Name
- Registered Phone Number / WhatsApp Mobile Number (with country code)
- Registered Email Address
- Specify if your inquiry is related to general marketing/WhatsApp chat removal or a previous client migration service file.
- Our compliance officer will verify your details and process the erasure/archival request. You will receive a written confirmation email outlining the action taken within 3 to 5 business days.
