911 PNP candidates having a CRS score of 732 in the most recent Express Entry lottery are invited by the IRCC. Keep up with results from Express Entry and immigration trends in Canada.
A second batch of invitations has been sent out by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) using the Express Entry system, with candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) being the target audience. In this draw, candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 732 were sent 911 Invitations to Apply (ITAs).
This is the first Express Entry draw for September. The IRCC staged 14 separate lotteries in July and August during a busy summer. Notably, with nine draws between July 2 and July 31, July broke the record for the most draws in a single month since the system’s launch in 2015.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program issued 3,330 ITAs to candidates in the latest Express Entry draw, which took place on August 27.
Every other week, the IRCC has started a new practice of holding several draws, frequently with at least one for PNP candidates. This is in line with the IRCC’s pledge to host more “domestic” lotteries in order to give temporary residents in Canada greater chances to become permanent residents and therefore decrease the number of new temporary residents entering the country.
