Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (subclass 187)

This visa allows skilled workers nominated by an employer in regional Australia to live and work in Australia permanently.

Who It Is For

• You are nominated by an approved employer for a job in regional Australia
• You are under 45 (basic eligibility)
• You meet skills, qualifications and English requirements
• Temporary Residence Transition: you are a transitional subclass 457 or 482 worker and usually worked for your employer full-time for at least 2 years

What You Can Do With This Visa

• Live and work in Australia permanently
